The Indiana Partnership for Inclusive Child Care (IPICC) project is designed to impact the families of children with special needs and their child care providers. IPICC focuses on the following:

  • Help parents understand how to select and monitor the quality of care for their child(ren) with special needs
  • Ensure that providers have specialized training caring for children with special needs
  • Provide an inclusion specialist to work with providers and parents

Resource Link - Choosing Quality Child Care for a Child with Special Needs - In a quality child care environment, caregivers respond positively to differences in children’s abilities, interests and experiences.   This brochure provides parents with important factors to consider when choosing quality child care for a child with special needs. A sample checklist is included.
