ECA Announces New Paid Internship Program

Early Childhood Alliance (ECA) has announced a new paid internship program that provides individuals with the opportunity to receive a Child Development Associate (CDA®) credential while gaining on-the-job experience in early education classrooms at ECA!

The CDA® is a nationally recognized credential awarded to individuals who complete specified training, pass an exam, and complete an assessment. The credential prepares individuals seeking opportunities in the field of early childhood education to meet children’s physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development.

ECA’s internship opportunities allow individuals to get paid for study time, as well as time working directly in ECA Learning Center classrooms. Financial bonuses are also given to interns for completing program milestones. Once the coursework has been completed and the CDA® exam has been passed, interns are then offered employment opportunities with ECA.

To be eligible for ECA’s internship opportunities, individuals must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, and pass a background check and drug screen. Information can also be found at https://eca4kids.org/internships.
