Digital technology is ever-evolving, and so must be the ways in which non-profit organizations increase their revenue. As cryptocurrency has become increasingly popular with younger generations, local nonprofit Early Childhood Alliance (ECA) has made the move to begin accepting this exciting form of donation.
“I say this is an exciting form of donation because it’s new to us and something that many nonprofits are not yet accepting,” says ECA Director of Marketing and Communications Stacy Thomas. “According to Gemini’s 2021 State of U.S. Crypto Report, more than 21 million adults in the country use cryptocurrency. Donating crypto is a non-taxable event and is a convenient way for donors to see their donation make a big impact.”
ECA’s mission is to build better futures for young children by promoting and providing excellence in early childhood care and education. All donations ECA receives directly impact young children today and help to create a strong foundation for tomorrow!
