Presented by: Bil Easley
There are many children who struggle to regulate their emotions for many different reasons. This training uses the “Zones of Regulation” by Leah Kuypers as a framework to discuss how to help kids understand, interpret and regulate themselves in a world that is often confusing. By addressing underlying deficits in emotional and sensory regulation, executive functioning, and social cognition, the framework is designed to help move youth toward independent regulation.
- To equip professionals and parents with language skills to discuss emotional development
- To help youth understand how their behavior impacts those around them
- To assist youth in learning effective tools they can use to manage their feelings & emotions
NO COST. Two (2) CEUs are offered to participants. Snacks will be provided. Please register as soon as possible – SEATING IS LIMITED.
