Often parents of young children wonder where to start and what to do to help their child develop the skills needed to be ready to attend and succeed in school. ECA offers group sessions, which are hands-on learning opportunities for families and children together.

At each session, you’ll discover:

  • A group setting where stories, songs and other learning activities are provided for children along with their parents or caregivers
  • Ideas on different ways to extend the learning at home to encourage children’s development and build the skills they need before entering kindergarten
  • Children playing with each other, practicing problem-solving skills, and learning important life skills, such as sharing and communicating. At the same time parents can connect with one another for idea sharing and support.
  • Materials that families take home to extend learning (books, learning materials, and activity pages)
