Watch as we explain what the Parents as Teachers (or Home Visits) program is all about.
Supporting parents in their role as their child’s first teacher, Early Childhood Alliance provides Parents as Teachers (PAT). This internationally recognized program is designed for experienced educators to meet families one-on-one where they are — in the comfort of their homes.
These home educators demonstrate activities and share ideas with parents and child, providing information to help parents feel confident about the emotional, behavioral and physical development of their children. Families receive information and support in helping their children develop the skills that lead to school readiness.
Each personal visit focuses on:
- Parent-Child Interaction
- Development-Centered Parenting
- Family Well-Being
